Procedure

  1. Go to the Configure Policy screen by performing one of the following:
    • Classic Mode: Go to SECURITY AGENTS and select a group. Click more-horiz.jpgConfigure Policy.
    • Advanced Mode: Go to POLICIESPolicy Management. Click Add or click an existing policy.
  2. Click window8.jpg Windows.
  3. Go to Firewall.
  4. Under Firewall, enable the feature and configure the required settings.
  5. Select from the following:
    • Simple Mode: Enables firewall with default settings.

    • Advanced Mode: Enables firewall with custom settings.
  6. (Skip to the last step if you selected the simple mode) In the Security Level section, specify from the following:
    • High: Blocks all incoming and outgoing traffic except any traffic allowed in the exception list.
    • Medium: Blocks all incoming traffic and allows all outgoing traffic except any traffic allowed and blocked in the exception list.
    • Low: Allows all incoming and outgoing traffic except any traffic blocked in the exception list. This is the default setting for the simple mode.
  7. Under Intrusion Detection System, select Enable Intrusion Detection System to identify patterns in network packets that may indicate an attack.
  8. Use the Firewall Exception List to allow or block different kinds of network traffic based on endpoint port numbers and IP addresses.

  9. Click Save
