You do not need to participate in Smart Feedback to protect your endpoints. Your participation is optional and you may opt out at any time. Trend Micro recommends that you participate in Smart Feedback to help provide better overall protection for your endpoints.

Procedure

  1. Go to Administration → Smart Protection Network.
  2. Select Enable Trend Micro Smart Feedback (recommended).
    To help Trend Micro understand your organization, choose the industry type.
  3. To send information about potential security threats in the files on your endpoints, select Enable feedback of suspicious program files.
  4. Click Save.
