Procedure

  1. Go to SECURITY AGENTS.
  2. Go to add-group.jpg → New Filter.
  3. Select a criteria from the list and specify your requirements.
    Criteria
    Description
    Endpoint name
    The host or device name of the endpoint
    Manual/Domain group
    Click Select Groups and specify the manual or Active Directory groups to include in your search.

    Note
    When selecting an Active Directory group that contains child groups, visually the child groups are not selected. However, selecting the parent group automatically adds all child groups to the search criteria.
    IP address
    The IPv4 address range
    Examples:
    10.1.1.1 to 10.1.1.254
    192.168.2.0/32
    Click add.jpg to add more IP ranges.
    Endpoint type
    The type of endpoint
    Operating system
    The type of operating system
    Label
    The owner name or identifier that follows the format specified by the administrator
  4. Click Add Search Criteria to add more criteria.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Specify a unique name for the new filter.
  7. Click Save.
