Use the tool to prepare necessary registry key values used for the Security Agent program before creating a cloned image for mass deployment.

Procedure

  1. On the Worry-Free Services web console, go to ADMINISTRATION → Tools.
  2. Under Image Cloning Setup Tool, click the download link.
  3. Run ImageCloningSetupTool.exe and follow the on-screen instructions.
  4. Confirm the following changes in HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\TrendMicro\PC-cillinNTCorp\CurrentVersion\HostedAgent\ (64-bit)/HKLM\SOFTWARE\TrendMicro\PC-cillinNTCorp\CurrentVersion\HostedAgent\ (32-bit):
    • ClientRegistered: Changes the value from 1 to 0
    • AgentGuid: Deletes this registry key
  5. Shut down the endpoint.
  6. Create and deploy a cloned image.
    After the endpoint restarts, the Security Agent will create a new AgentGuid and be able to report to the Worry-Free Services web console.
