You can deploy the Security Agent on Android devices using a mobile device management (MDM) solution. This section provides the deployment procedure for Microsoft Intune. The steps may vary depending on the MDM solution you use. For more information, see the documentation that comes with your MDM solution.

Procedure

  1. Sign in to the Microsoft Intune admin center.
  2. Add the Mobile Security for Business app to Microsoft Intune. Complete the following steps:
    1. Go to Apps All apps and click + Add.
    2. In the Select app type pane, select Managed Google Play app from the App type drop-down list and click Select.
    3. Type Mobile Security for Business in the search field and click the search button.
    4. In the search results area, select the icon for "Mobile Security for Business".
    5. On the application details screen, click Approve.
    6. Click Approve again to confirm.
    7. On the Approval settings screen, accept the default setting and click Done.
    8. On the Managed Google Play screen, click Sync and Apps | All apps.
    9. On the Apps | All apps screen, click Refresh to update the app list.
  3. Add a policy to implement automatic authentication so that your users can access the Mobile Security for Business app without having to type the credentials manually. Complete the following steps:
    1. Go to AppsApp configuration policies, click Add and select Managed devices.
      The Create app configuration policy screen appears.
    2. On the Basics tab, configure the following required settings:
      • Name: Name of the policy that appears in the Microsoft Intune admin center.
      • Platform: Select Android Enterprise and select a Profile Type.
      • Targeted app: Click Select app. On the Associated app screen that appears, select Mobile Security for Business to associate with the configuration policy and then click OK.
    3. Click Next.
    4. On the Settings tab, select Use configuration designer from the Configuration settings format drop-down list, and then click +Add.
    5. Select the following configuration keys and click OK.
      • Work email
      • Trend Micro product code
      • Trend Micro auth code
    6. Configure the configuration keys and click Next.

    7. Under Included groups, click + Add group, + Add all users, or + Add all devices to assign the Mobile Security for Business app to your users.

      If you select + Add group, make sure you select the same group or groups in the app properties, configuration policies, and configuration profiles for the Mobile Security for Business app for Android.
    8. Click Next.
    9. Confirm the information you specified and then click Create.
      The policy is successfully added to Intune and listed on the App configuration policies screen.
