Security Agent Installation — Download Installer

Use this method to download the Windows or Mac installer and install the Security Agent on a single endpoint or on multiple endpoints.

On the Worry-Free Services web console, go to SECURITY AGENTS.
Above the Security Agent List, click Add Security Agents.
Select the group to which you want to add Security Agents and click Add Security Agents.
Click Download Installer.

The Security Agent Installer screen appears.
Select Windows or Mac and click Download.
- Windows: Downloads the Download Utility (WFBS-SVC_Agent_Downloader.exe)
  
  Run the Download Utility and follow the on-screen instructions to download the Security Agent installer (.msi file).
  
  When the download completes, the Download Utility inserts the company key into the Security Agent installer so that the installer can be distributed.
- Mac: Downloads a ZIP file containing the Mac installer (WFBS-SVC_Agent_Installer.pkg.zip)
  
  Extract the ZIP file to obtain the full Security Agent installer package. Ensure the WFBS-SVC_Agent_Installer.pkg and Identifier.plist files are in the same folder before installing the Security Agent.

  If you download the Mac installer using a Windows endpoint, the installer can only be used for mass deployment.

Same group and account installation

Install the Security Agent on endpoints that are in the same group and account as the endpoint used to download the Security Agent installer.

Different group and account installation

Install the Security Agent on endpoints that are in a different group and account from the endpoint used to download the Security Agent installer.

This method is recommended for resellers or administrators who need to manage multiple endpoints that are in different groups or domains.
