The domains you configure for incoming message settings are different from the domains
you
configure for message delivery settings.
- Incoming message domains

IMSS relays messages that are sent only
to the incoming message domains. For example, if the incoming message domain
list includes only one domain, "domain.com", IMSS will relay only messages that are
sent to "domain.com".
- Message delivery domains
-
IMSS delivers messages based on message
delivery domains. For example, if the delivery domain includes "domain.com"
and the associated SMTP server 10.10.10.10 on port 25, all email messages
sent to "domain.com" will be delivered to the SMTP server 10.10.10.10 using
port 25.
