Most Trend Micro products released after the 4th quarter of 2003 can install Control Manager agents as part of the product installation. However, you may still need to install agents from Control Manager in the following instances:
Migration of products managed by Trend VCS to Control Manager
Centralized implementation of a Control Manager network
If you will install InterScan Messaging Security Suite 5.1 (IMSS), install this agent before other products.
The installation order of the remaining agents does not matter, although Trend Micro recommends installing eManager agents before the regular antivirus product agents.
