For Control Manager agents
The RemoteInstall.exe program allows you to obtain, install, and remove Control Manager agent-update packages.
To obtain the setup program:
Click Products on the main menu.
Click Add/Remove Product Agents on the left-hand menu.
On the Add/Remove Product Agents screen, click the appropriate Use this.
At the File Download screen, select Save this program to disk, and then click OK.
At the Save As screen, select a location for the program, and then click Save.
For Trend VCS agents and the Control Manager agent for InterScan Messaging Security Suite 5.1
Obtain the CMAgentSetup.exe program to install or remove Trend VCS and the Control Manager agent for InterScan Messaging Security Suite 5.1 (InterScan Messaging Security Suite 5.15 and above uses the Remote Agent Setup tool).
Click Products on the menu.
Public encryption key
Control Manager agents require the public encryption key to register and communicate with the Control Manager server.
To obtain the public encryption key:
Click Add/Remove Product Agents.
On the Add/Remove Product Agents screen, right-click public encryption key link, and then click Save Target As . . .
At the Save As screen, select a location for the key (E2EPublic.dat). The location must be readily accessible by the agents that require this key.
