Define your organization's criteria for sensitive data by creating rules based on your organization's regions, data types, and compliance requirements.

Establishing how your organization classifies sensitive data is a foundational step in implementing effective Data Security. The Sensitive Data Classification app streamlines this process by guiding you through an initial setup using a Rule Selection Wizard. This wizard helps you define:
  • The regions where your organization operates
  • The compliance standards your organization follows
  • The types of data your organization handles:
    • Financial
    • Personal
    • Credentials
    • Other

The setup process consists of two main steps:
  1. Initial rule configuration: Use the Rule Selection Wizard to generate a baseline set of rules based on Data Loss Prevention (DLP) templates. This wizard is only available during the initial setup. For more information, see Set up sensitive data classification.
