You can quickly deactivate sensitive data classification rules directly from the Sensitive Data Classification screen, which allows for batch rule deactivation with just a few clicks.

You can deactivate sensitive data classification rules when you no longer want the data identified by a rule to be classified as sensitive. Deactivating a rule removes the associated data from Data Inventory, and you will no longer be able to track its movement Deactivating a rule does not delete it, and you can make the rule active again as needed.

Procedure

  1. Go to Data Security → Sensitive Data Classification.
  2. Select the checkbox beside each rule you want to deactivate.
  3. Click the Deactivate selected rules.
  4. In the warning modal that appears, click Deactivate rules.
