Ensure that network locations containing sensitive data are monitored for data movement by creating a custom rule. Define the network location using the Uniform Resource Identifier (URI), and then specify the category of sensitive data in that location, the sensitivity level of the data, and apply a data tag to the rule.

Procedure

  1. Go to Data SecuritySensitive Data Classification.
  2. Click Add custom rule.
  3. To make the rule active after it is created, move the toggle switch to Active.
  4. From the Rule type list, select "Network location".
  5. Provide a name and description for the rule.
  6. In the Network location field, enter the Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) of the network resource.

    The URI must start with a protocol (for example https://) and specify the complete path. Wildcards (*) are not allowed.
  7. From the Sensitive level tag list, specify whether the rule has a low, medium, or high sensitivity.
  8. From the Category list select a data category for the rule.

  9. From the Data tags list, select at least one data tag to associate with the rule.

  10. Click Save.
