To manage Sync Agent settings, click Settings on the main Sync Agent console, and select one of the following:

Settings are organized into the following tabs:

Export settings...

Exports the following Sync Agent settings:

  • Basic configuration: settings to configure Sync Agent behavior

  • Registered Scanning Tool list: list of Scanning Tools registered on the Sync Agent

  • Scanning Tool settings: settings for Scanning Tools registered on the Sync Agent

Note:

For easier transfer and import, export the settings to an empty folder.

The following settings are not exported:

  • Activation code

  • Security patterns and components

  • Diagnostic Toolkit settings

  • Password and connection port

Import settings...

Imports Sync Agent settings

To import settings, specify a folder that contains the exported Sync Agent settings, and click Import.
