Use the Control Manager tab to manage the connection details between the Sync Agent and the Control Manager server.

The following options are available:

  • Server FQDN or IP address: Server FQDN or IP address of the Control Manager server

  • Port: Port used by the connection

  • Connect using HTTPS: Specify if the connection uses HTTPS

  • Entity display name: Name of the Sync Agent that appears on the Control Manager server

    Note:
    • The Sync Agent display name can only be configured during installation.To change the Sync Agent display name, uninstall and reinstall the Sync Agent again.

    • To verify that the Sync Agent connection was successful, log on to the Control Manager server, go to Directories > Product Directory, and locate the Sync Agent name of the endpoint.

  • Application ID and API Key: Specify the Application ID and API key that the Sync Agent uses to connect to the Control Manager server

    Note:

    To obtain the Application ID and API key, go to Administration > Settings > Automation API Access Settings on the Control Manager server.

  • Use a proxy server: Specify if the connection uses a proxy server
