The Sync Agent displays the status of the Activation Code on the Overview tab.

Resolve common issues by performing one of the following:

To register the Sync Agent, click Settings on the Sync Agent console and set up a connection to a Control Manager server.
For more information, see Sync Agent Settings.

To update the Activation Code, go to the screen on the Control Manager server.

The Sync Agent is unable to download the latest updates if the Sync Agent is not registered, has an expired Activation Code, or is unable to establish a connection to the Control Manager server. To minimize issues, Trend Micro recommends getting a new Activation code before the current one expires.

On the Scanning Tool console, the Activation Code status is available on the Status and Update tab.
