Deep Discovery Email Inspector is available as a hardware or virtual appliance.
Hardware appliance
Trend Micro provides two server models with Deep Discovery Email Inspector pre-installed. After you have received your Deep Discovery Email Inspector appliance, configure network settings using the Command Line Interface (CLI) to gain access to the management console.

Virtual appliance
Deep Discovery Email Inspector supports installation on the following:
  • VMware ESXi 6.7, 7.0, or 8.0
  • Microsoft Hyper-V on Windows Server 2016, 2019, or 2022
  • Nutanix AHV
  • KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine)
