Manage users and mobile devices protected by Mobile Security.

The Mobile Inventory screen contains the following tabs.

View information about and manage groups, organizational units, or assignment groups
The tab name varies depending on the MDM solution:
  • Groups: Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), VMware Workspace ONE UEM, or Microsoft Entra ID
  • Organizational Units: Google Workspace
  • Assignment Groups: Other MDM solutions integrated through managed configuration
You can perform the following common actions on all tabs.

Send enrollment invitations to users or groups to install the Mobile Security for Business app

This action is available only with Microsoft Entra ID integration.
Click Invite User. In the Invite User to Enroll Device panel, specify one or more user names or Entra ID group names and click Invite.
Deploy the Mobile Security for Business app to all the devices in a group

This action is available only when you integrate with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), VMware Workspace ONE UEM, or Google Workspace.
Click Add Assignments. In the Add Assignments panel, specify one or more group names or organizational units and click Add.

  • When Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) is used, adding assignments synchronizes the Android dedicated devices and Apple bulk enrollment devices regardless of whether their users are in the specified group. Other Android or iOS/iPadOS devices are synchronized to Mobile Security only when their users are in the specified group.
  • When Google Workspace is used, adding assignments deploys the Mobile Security for Business app only to the ChromeOS devices, not to the Android or iOS/iPadOS devices. Android and iOS/iPadOS devices are enrolled during integration with Google Workspace. For details, see Setting up Google Workspace integration.
Manually synchronize devices, users, and groups

This action is available only when you integrate with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), VMware Workspace ONE UEM, Microsoft Entra ID, or Google Workspace.
Click Sync (Sync_icon=bc994a2c-3a6c-419b-a584-a12efb14eacc.png) to manually synchronize all device, user, and group data from the MDM. The synchronization can be performed in the Devices, Users, or Groups tab. The data synchronized is not affected by the selected tab.
Group contents are synchronized to reflect newly added or removed users and devices.
When either manual or scheduled synchronization takes place, the status changes to "Syncing...".
Hover over Sync (Sync_icon=bc994a2c-3a6c-419b-a584-a12efb14eacc.png) to view the last synchronization time.
Export the data
To export the information displayed on the Devices, Users, or Groups tab as a CSV document, click the export button (msExportIcon=20230203120456.jpg).

The Devices exports a ZIP archive containing a CSV file for Android devices and a CSV file for iOS/iPadOS devices.
Refresh inventory data
Click the refresh icon (Refresh_icon=GUID-B55739E8-3C9C-4511-9D93-A22BEA066D27=1=en-us=Low.png) to display the latest inventory data.
