Using MFA Backup Codes to Log On Parent topic

When logging on to the SecureCloud web console, and multi-factor authentication is activated for your account, you can either proceed with the MFA logon process or use one of the available backup codes if you have no access to your mobile phone.

Procedure

  1. After providing your account user name and password, click the Don’t have your phone? link on the Log On Authentication Code page.mfa_backupcdoes_forgetphone.jpg
    The Forgot Phone? page opens.
  2. Type an active backup code in the Verification Code field, and then click Verify.

The SecureCloud web console appears. Otherwise, if the backup code you supplied is already deactivated (because it has been used already), a message similar to the following appears:

Supply another active backup code.
