MFA Backup Codes Parent topic

Use the Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) backup codes to log on to the SecureCloud web console if you encounter one of the following scenarios:
  • Lost mobile phone—the one you have used to activate the second factor of SecureCloud MFA
  • You cannot access Google Authenticator to obtain an authentication code
MFA backup codes come in sets of six. An active code becomes inactive when you use it or generate a new set.
In an event when you are unable to log on to the SecureCloud web console using an active MFA backup code, try synchronizing your registered mobile device with the SecureCloud server’s clock.
