Files can be infected by more than one virus. If this is the case, a file will still be infected even if a virus has already been removed from it.

The Security Agent supports recursive scanning to ensure that infected files are completely cleaned. After cleaning a file, it scans the file again for other viruses. Up to five viruses can be removed from a file in one scanning session.
