October 16, 2026—TrendAI Vision One™ now has the VDI type condition for automated tagging rules in Tag Management, so you can identify and tag Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) devices based on their persistence. The VDI type condition is available for the Devices asset type and includes the following available values:
  • Persistent
  • Non-persistent
For example, selecting Any of Persistent matches all VDI devices in a persistent state.

The VDI type condition can only be combined with Asset Group and CREM exception list platform tags. This restriction prevents rules from creating tags that duplicate the VDI type condition itself.
