Once Trend Vision One draws down credits from your balance due to your solution usage, those credits are
no longer available to use. However, you can use any unused credits for any paid Trend Vision One solution or package at any time during your contract period.
If your credit balance is running low, you can disable solutions that are currently
in use, to ensure there is no credit drawdown for those solutions in future months.
Alternatively, you can purchase more credits from AWS Marketplace or Microsoft Marketplace.
This flexibility is valuable in several scenarios. In the event of a security incident
like a zero-day vulnerability, you can temporarily or permanently enable additional
solutions using unused credits for greater threat visibility. Whenever the size of
your workforce or your organizational needs change, you can redirect credits from
unused or underutilized solutions toward other options that better meet your needs.
If you rebuild applications with new technology—for example, migrating from servers
to containers—you can easily shift your credit usage from Endpoint Security to Container
Security.
