Purchase Trend Vision One credits from Microsoft Marketplace.

You can purchase a Trend Vision One Credits license from Microsoft Marketplace. Credits licenses are renewable subscription-based contracts. You can upgrade the number of credits granted by the license through Microsoft Marketplace at any time.

  • Your business can have multiple active credits licenses at once.
  • Each license appears as a separate item in License Information. The total amount of credits from all your licenses combine into your credit balance, which is available for use across Trend Vision One.
  • You can only activate each credits license purchased from Microsoft Marketplace once. You cannot transfer licenses to another registered business after activation. If you need to change your license to another registered business, contact your sales representative.
Take the following steps to purchase a Trend Vision One Credits license from Microsoft Marketplace and activate the license in Trend Vision One:

Procedure

  1. Go to Microsoft Marketplace.
  2. Search for Trend Vision One Credits.
  3. Click Get It Now.
  4. Set up and pay for your Trend Vision One Credits license.
    1. Type a name for the SaaS resource under SaaS details.
    2. Next to Number of users (3-1000000), type the number of credits you want to purchase.

      The number of credits required per user varies depending on the solutions you use in Trend Vision One. In Microsoft Marketplace, each "user" equates to one credit, but one credit is not sufficient for one user in Trend Vision One.
      For an estimate of how many credits Trend Micro recommends purchasing for your planned solution usage, go to Administration → Platform Usage and Credits → All available solutions in Trend Vision One and use the credit calculator.

      Recurring billing is enabled by default. If you do not want your license to automatically renew at the end of the billing term, select Off for Recurring billing. You can change this setting at any time under Edit recurring billing.
    3. Click Review + subscribe to confirm the contract details.
  5. Click Configure account now to open the Trend Vision One console.
  6. Activate the credit license in the Trend Vision One console.
    1. Sign in to the Trend Vision One console using an account with licensing permissions.
      The Activate Your Trend Micro Solutions screen appears.
    2. Review the license details and click Activate.

    After activating the license, you can view the license and credit conversion information in License Information and Platform Usage and Credits.

  7. After purchasing and activating your Trend Vision One Credits license, you can upgrade the number of credits included in the license at any time.
    1. Go to Microsoft Marketplace.
    2. Find your Trend Vision One Credits license.
    3. Under Change No. of users, specify the number of credits you want to add to your license.
      Your Trend Vision One Credits license updates to include the additional credits.

      The newly added credits appear as a separate item in License Information, but retain the same expiration date.
