Experience the benefits of XDR for Networks with a free trial.

Important
You can start a free trial when you meet the following conditions:
  • You have never started a free trial or paid usage for XDR for Networks.
  • You previously used XDR for Networks for a free trial or through paid usage, but at least 180 days have passed since you last used it.

Procedure

  1. Go to Network Security → Network Inventory.
  2. Click Start free trial.
    Make sure you have the following permissions to start a trial:
    • Settings > Trend Vision One™ trials > Manage trials
    • Security Functions > Network Security > Network Inventory > Configure settings
  3. Select a group of features to include in this free trial and click Next.
    Each of the following XDR for Networks feature groups are available for separate free trials:
    • Virtual Network Sensor
      Send to Sandbox for Virtual Network Sensor
    • Deep Discovery Inspector Network Sensor
      Send to Sandbox for Deep Discovery Inspector
    • TippingPoint Network Sensor
      Send to Sandbox for TippingPoint Network Sensor
  4. If you want to continue using the selected group of features with no disruption in service after the trial ends, enable Paid usage after trial.
    Tip
    Tip
    You can adjust this setting at any time before the trial expires.
    If you disable automatic paid usage, your access to the features stops when the trial ends. To continue your usage after the trial, you must manually reenable the features using credits or pay-as-you-go. Trend Vision One deletes related settings, PII, and data from the trial period 30 days after the trial ends, except for information related to cyber threats or shared with other solutions.
  5. Click Start free trial.
    Your trial begins. You can start using the selected features for free.
    Tip
    Tip
    Go to Platform Usage and Credits → Credits overview → Trial usage to view your trial usage.
    Your estimated post-trial credit usage indicates the estimated number of credits you would need to continue using the solution in the same volume of usage after the trial ends. The number changes throughout the trial period. For more information, see Trend Vision One™ Trials.
  6. Click Manage trial → Extend trial for 30 days to extend the trial at any time.
    You can use the 30-day trial extension only once. When the trial ends, credits will be required to continue using the selected features. For the credit requirements, see Credit requirements for XDR for Networks.
