Start a free trial to explore security features of Trend Vision One Email and Collaboration Security, evaluate performance, and ensure the solution meets your needs—all at no cost. The trial is designed for eligible Trend Vision One customers who want to test Email and Collaboration Security before purchasing.
  • Eligibility:
    • You have never started a free trial or paid usage for Email and Collaboration Security.
    • You previously used Email and Collaboration Security for a free trial or through paid usage, but at least 180 days have passed since you last used it.
  • Scope: Includes XDR for Email, Cloud Email and Collaboration Protection, and Cloud Email Gateway Protection.
  • Easy activation: Start the trial directly from the Trend Vision One console with one click—no complex setup required.
  • Required permissions:
    • XDR for Email: all permissions under Email and Collaboration Security → Email and Collaboration Sensor
    • Cloud Email and Collaboration Protection: all permissions under Email and Collaboration Security → Cloud Email and Collaboration Protection
    • Cloud Email Gateway Protection: all permissions under Email and Collaboration Security → Cloud Email Gateway Protection
    • Trend Vision One trial: Settings → Trials → Manage trials

Procedure

  1. Go to Email and Collaboration Security.
  2. Review the landing page to learn about available apps and features before you start.
  3. Decide which app or feature where you want to start with and click the applicable button on the corresponding card to start your trial.
    • For XDR for Email, click Set up Email Sensor.
    • For Cloud Email and Collaboration Protection, click Provision Cloud Email and Collaboration Protection.
    • For Cloud Email Gateway Protection, click Provision Cloud Email Gateway Protection.
  4. Click Start free trial.
  5. If you want uninterrupted service after the trial ends, enable Continue using the solution after the trial expires.

    Tip
    You can adjust this setting at any time before the trial ends.
    If you disable automatic paid usage, your access to this solution stops when the trial ends. To continue after the trial, you must manually re-enable the solution using credits or pay-as-you-go. Trend Vision One deletes related settings, PII, and trial data 30 days after the trial ends, except for information related to cyber threats or shared with other solutions.
  6. Click Start free trial.
    Your trial begins. Wait a few minutes while the system prepares the deployment environment.

    You can view your trial usage in the following locations:
    • Platform Usage and Credits → Credits overview → Trial usage
    • Email and Collaboration Security → Email and Collaboration Sensor → Manage usage
    • Email and Collaboration Security → Cloud Email and Collaboration Protection → Dashboard → Manage usage
    • Email and Collaboration Security → Cloud Email Gateway Protection → Dashboard → Manage usage
    Your estimated post-trial credit usage indicates how many credits you would need to maintain the same usage after the trial ends. This estimate updates throughout the trial. For more information, see Trend Vision One™ Trials.
  7. To start a free trial for another app or feature, go to its landing page from the left navigation and click Start free trial.
    You can start paid usage immediately by clicking Get started and confirming activation.

    Your ongoing Email and Collaboration Security free trial will convert to paid usage if:
    • You start paid usage of any Email and Collaboration Security app or feature.
    • You update your Cloud App Security or Trend Micro Email Security to Cloud Email and Collaboration Protection or Cloud Email Gateway Protection.
  8. If needed, click Manage usage → Extend trial for 30 days to extend the trial at any time.
    You can use the 30-day trial extension only once. When the trial ends, credits will be required to continue using the app or feature. For the credit requirements, see Credit requirements for Email and Collaboration Security.
