A company scope is a reusable, named object that defines which companies a custom user role can access.

Assign a company scope to a custom user role from the Management scope tab when you configure the role.

Procedure

  1. Go to Administration → User Roles and Management Scope → Company scope.
  2. Click + Add company scope to add a new company scope, or select an existing scope to edit it.
  3. In the General information tab, type a name and, optionally, a description for the scope.
    Names can only include letters, numbers, dashes, underscores, and spaces.
  4. Click the Company scope tab, then select the companies and customer groups to include in the scope.
    Select All companies to include every managed customer account, or expand the list to select specific customer groups.
  5. Click Save.
