Learn how credits are calculated for Data Security for Endpoints, which collects activity data to trace and analyze how sensitive data, as defined by Data Security policies, moves across endpoints. Data Security for Endpoints requires credits for each endpoint with the Data Security Sensor setting enabled. How is Data Security for Endpoints charged?
Data Security for Endpoints is charged on a per-device basis. Each month, TrendAI Vision One™ draws down credits based on the number of endpoints with the Data Security Sensor setting enabled.
How many credits do I need?
Data Security for Endpoints requires 2.5 credits per endpoint per month, or 30 credits per endpoint per year.
NoteThe annual credit requirement is not necessarily 12 times the monthly requirement.
TrendAI Vision One™ draws down credits from your balance each month based on your actual volume of usage,
so your credit drawdown might differ each month.

Does Data Security Posture Management require separate credits?
No. The Data Security Posture Management app populates automatically when you have
an accompanying Cyber Risk Exposure Management entitlement (device or cloud account assessment). There is no separate charge for Data Security
Posture Management. The app fills with data if you have the proper existing entitlements
and a data source, such as Cyber Risk Exposure Management - device assessment or Cyber
Risk Exposure Management - cloud account assessment.
How and when does TrendAI Vision One™ draw down credits?
TrendAI Vision One™ deducts credits monthly based on usage. It deducts usage for the current month on
the first day of the next month.
How do I check credit usage?
In the Data Policy app, click Manage usage to open the credits drawer. On the Usage details tab, view the credits used and the next drawdown date.
What happens if I run out of credits?
If your credit balance becomes negative, your usage of Data Security for Endpoints
continues uninterrupted, but you will see a negative balance in . You must purchase additional credits to continue using Data Security for Endpoints.
How do I stop credit drawdown for Data Security for Endpoints?
To stop credit drawdown, disable Data Security Sensor on all managed endpoints. After you disable the sensor, TrendAI Vision One™ makes a final drawdown on the first day of the following month. Thereafter, TrendAI Vision One™ no longer draws down credits for Data Security for Endpoints.
To disable the Data Security Sensor:

Scroll down to Cyber Risk & Security Operations and disable the Data Security Sensor security module.
