If you'd like to change the S3 bucket to scan that's associated with your stack, follow the instructions below.

Procedure

  1. Update your stack, making sure to specify a different bucket in the S3BucketToScan field on the Specify stack details page.
    The stack update process will remove the s3:ObjectCreated:* event from the original bucket and add it to the new bucket.

The bucket name displayed on the File Storage Security console will not be updated. To fix it, delete and add the storage stack again.
