Views:
A message stamp is inserted in to an email message to notify a recipient that Deep Discovery Email Inspector has processed the message.
You can configure up to three message stamps based on message directions (one each for inbound, outbound, or inbound and outbound message directions). There is no limit to the number of stamps you can create for policy rules.
The following table describes the information on the Stamps screen.

Name
View the descriptive name for the stamp.
Content
View the text content of the stamp.
Insert At
View the location in the message body to insert the stamp.
Direction
View the direction of the messages to which the stamp is applied.
If the stamp is used in one or more policy rules, this field displays a dash "-".
Associated Rules
Vew the number of policy rules in which the stamp is applied.
If the stamp is applied based on message direction, this field displays a dash "-".
Last Updated
View the date and time the entry was last updated.
Status
Toggle to enable or disable the stamp.

  • When a stamp is enabled for a message direction, Deep Discovery Email Inspector automatically inserts the stamp in to message in the specified message direction.
  • You can only disable a stamp that is not used in a policy rule.
