You can configure up to three message stamps based on message directions (one each for inbound, outbound, or inbound and outbound message directions). There is no limit to the number of stamps you can create for policy rules.

Procedure

  1. Go to PoliciesPolicy ObjectsStamps.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • Click Add to configure a new stamp.
    • Click a stamp name to change the settings.
  3. Select a status option to enable or disable the stamp.
    Note
    Note
    • When a stamp is enabled for a message direction, Deep Discovery Email Inspector automatically inserts the stamp in to message in the specified message direction.
    • You can only disable a stamp that is not used in a policy rule.
  4. Type a descriptive name.
  5. Select the message location to insert the stamp.
  6. Select an option to apply the stamp based on policy rules or message direction.
    Note
    Note
    • If you select Policy rules, select the stamp in one or more policy rules to have Deep Discovery Email Inspector insert the stamp in to detected messages.

  7. Type the stamp content in the text field.
You can format the text content using the formatting settings provided. The Plain text preview field displays the read-only, plain text version of the content.
