Before you begin

The pre-install tasks consist of installing the required software and then configuring the necessary accounts and permissions.

To help ensure a successful SecureCloud deployment, follow these sequence of tasks in order.

Procedure

  1. Add Web Server (IIS) roles.
  2. Install .NET Framework 3.5.1 and WCF Activation web server (IIS) features.

    Important
    SecureCloud supports .NET Framework 4.0, but does not currently support .NET Framework 4.5.1. Do not apply the .NET Framework 4.5.1 patch.
  3. Disable FIPS setting.
  4. Create the SecureCloud service account.
  5. Grant the necessary role for SQL Server Reporting Service..
  6. Install any of the supported SQL Server editions, along with Reporting Services.
    Check MSDN for instructions on how to install SQL Server.
  7. Enable SQL Server authentication, along with minimum permissions for SecureCloud KMS installation.
