You can configure when Trend Micro Apex One changes the status of Security Agents to inactive. Trend Micro Apex One defines an agent as being inactive after the Security Agent does not report back to the server for any of the following reasons:
  • The Security Agent program was removed from the endpoint manually
  • A user disabled or unloaded the Security Agent program for an extended period
You can configure Trend Micro Apex One to automatically remove inactive Security Agents from the agent tree.

Procedure

  1. Go to AdministrationSettingsInactive Agents.
  2. Select Enable automatic removal of inactive agents.
  3. Select how many days should pass before Trend Micro Apex One considers the Security Agent inactive.
  4. Click Save.
