You can save a copy of the Security Server
database and important configuration files for rolling back the
Security Server. You may want to do this if you are experiencing
problems and want to reinstall the Security Server or if you want to
revert to a previous configuration.
Procedure
- Stop the Trend Micro Security Server Master Service.
- Manually copy the following files and folders from the
folder to an alternate location:

Do not use backup tools or applications for this task.<Security Server installation path>\PCCSRV-
ofcscan.ini:Contains global settings. -
ous.ini: Contains the update source table for antivirus component deployment. -
Privatefolder: Contains firewall and update source settings. -
Pccnt\Common\OfcPfw.dat: Contains firewall settings. -
Download\OfcPfw.dat: Contains firewall deployment settings. -
Logfolder: Contains system events and the verify connection log. -
Virusfolder: The folder in which WFBS quarantines infected files. -
HTTDBfolder: Contains the WFBS database.

- Uninstall the Security Server. See Uninstalling the Security Server.
- Perform a fresh install. See the Worry-Free Business Security Installation and Upgrade Guide.
- After the master installer finishes, stop the Trend Micro Security Server Master Service on the target computer.
- Update the virus pattern version from the backup file:
- Get current virus pattern version from the
new server.
<Security Server installation path>\PCCSRV\Private\component.ini. [6101]ComponentName=Virus patternVersion=xxxxxx 0 0 - Update the version of the virus pattern in the backed-up
file:
\Private\component.ini
Note
If you change the Security Server installation path, you will have to update the path info in the backup filesofcscan.iniand\private\ofcserver.ini.
- Get current virus pattern version from the
new server.
- With the backups you created, overwrite the Worry-Free Business
Security database and the relevant
files and folders on the target machine in the
PCCSRVfolder. - Restart the Trend Micro Security Server Master Service.
