The dropdown menu allows you to switch between StellarProtect and StellarProtect (Legacy Mode).

Policy Inheritance
The toggle allows you to enable or disable the policy inheritance from the parent group.
  • If this toggle is on, policy settings for the agents/groups are inherited from the parent group. The Inherited status will be displayed in the Policy column on the Agents screen.
  • If this toggle is off, the StellarOne administrators can create a custom policy based on current policy settings. The Customized status will be displayed in the Policy column on the Agents screen.
Custom Exceptions
N/A
At the group level, after enabling Policy Inheritance, the Custom Exceptions option will appear, which is used to create custom exceptions to the inherited policy. See Create Custom Exceptions to the Inherited Policy for more details.

Self-management
The toggle allows you to enable or disable the agent's self-management. When the toggle is on, the agent will be set free from StellarOne console's policy management and the on-site operators can configure the agent's policy settings on their own.

Tab pages
You can switch among the pages related to the General Info, Policy page, and Situational Awareness baseline at the agent level.
Only the Policy page is available at the group level.

Import Exclusions
You can export and import the policy-based exceptions list used for Application Lockdown, (Multi-Method) Threat Prevention, OT Application Safeguard (StellarProtect only), Operations Behavior Anomoly Detection, and Device Control.

Settings
  • Set Policy Refresh Interval: You can specify how often the StellarOne policy, dashboard and Situational Awareness data sync are applied to the agent/group. See Set Policy Refresh Interval for more details.
  • Agent User Interface Preferences: You can customize the user interface settings, such as the display of pop-up notifications and right-click scan accessibility on the managed endpoints. See Set Agent User Interface Preferences for more information.
