May 4, 2026—Zero Trust Secure Access Private Access Connector version 3.1.0.1924 contains
new features, enhancements, and resolved issues.
New features
-
The connector now pulls complete site information from the ZTNA backend at registration time, replacing the previous hardcoded connection-test site list. This improves accuracy of site-to-Connector mapping and simplifies onboarding in new regions.
Enhancements
-
CLI command outputs have been reformatted to be easier to read and parse in administrative workflows.
-
DNS caching is now filtered to apply only to Private Access (PA) applications, reducing unnecessary cache entries and improving efficiency for other traffic.
-
The operating system identifier now reflects "TrendAI Vision One Private Access Connector" for clearer platform identification.
-
Updated the Rocky Linux 9 base with the latest security and stability patches and pinned the OS image to ensure reproducible, consistent builds.
-
Adjusted memory check threshold and polling interval to reduce false alerts and better reflect real-world workloads.
Resolved issues
-
Fixed OVF guest OS identifier and hardware version for proper ESXi compatibility, resolving deployment issues on VMware ESXi.
-
Fixed a missing import in the firmware updater that could impact connector upgrade execution.
-
Fixed NTP force-update incorrectly invoking the chrony client when the chrony daemon was stopped.
-
Fixed PAM syslog identity incorrectly overriding the sshd identity in system logs.
