January 5, 2026—Platform Usage and Credits, formerly called Credits & Billing, is
now available in Trend Vision One. Platform Usage and Credits offers centralized visibility into your credits, pay-as-you-go,
and trial usage, allowing you to monitor your usage across all solutions with improved
efficiency and transparency. The existing credit allocation model has changed to a
monthly credit drawdown model, improving your understanding of how you are utilizing
your credit balance across the Trend Vision One platform.
Key updates include:

The Trend Vision One Credits license: The Trend Vision One Credits license is now the only license type available for purchase. All your existing Trend Vision One licenses automatically convert to credits, enabling you to access all paid solutions across Trend Vision One.

Improved credit visibility: View your total credit balance in Platform Usage and Credits, as well as any credits expiring soon. Your credit balance equates to the number of credits purchased in your Trend Vision One Credits license, multiplied by the number of years in the contract period.

Monthly credit drawdown: Each month, Trend Vision One deducts credits from your credit balance based on your usage of paid solutions, packages, and features in the previous month. Different solutions calculate your credit usage based on either your peak usage on any day of the month, or your accumulated usage over the course of the month.

Trial usage insights: Many Trend Vision One solutions offer a free trial. Platform Usage and Credits provides insight into your usage during the trial period, along with the estimated number of credits required to continue your usage after the trial ends.
