Review the network usage requirements for the TrendAI Vision One™ Endpoint Security agent based on your environment.

Once deployed, the agent package connects to TrendAI Vision One™ in regular intervals called a heartbeat. Individual components of the agent package have different heartbeat rates. The following tables list typical heartbeat rates for the agent package based on environment.

The bandwidth usage detailed is based on enabling the default policy settings and are for reference use only. Actual traffic may vary depending on your environment, policy configurations, and application loading.

Considering the potential network stress from a large number of agents updating simultaneously, TrendAI™ recommends managing update schedules with Version Control Policies. For more information, see Version Control Policies.

You can also manage update sources and assign agents to act as relays for downloading updates. For more information, see Connection Policies.

Bandwidth usage for macOS is currently under evaluation.
