Gain insight into CVEs in your environment by connecting your Qualys data source with TrendAI Vision One™.

Connect your Qualys account to TrendAI Vision One™ to gain access to device information and CVE detections in order to enhance risk analyses in Cyber Risk Exposure Management.

Procedure

  1. Sign in to your Qualys instance.
  2. From the top-left dropdown menu, select Administration.
    The Administration screen appears.
  3. In the User Management tab, click Create User and select Create Reader User.
  4. Fill in the general information for the new user, including the associated email address.
  5. Select the User Role tab and configure the following settings:
    1. User Role: Reader
    2. Allow access to: API and GUI
  6. Select the Permissions tab and check Read assets under Asset Management.
  7. Select the Asset Groups tab and check the asset groups from which you wish to receive data.
  8. Click Save.
    Qualys sends an email to the address associated with the new user to complete the registration process, resulting in a new user name and password.
  9. In the TrendAI Vision One™ console, go to Workflow and Automation → Third-Party Integrations.
  10. Locate and click the Qualys card.
    You are directed to the Qualys data source drawer in Service Management → Data Source and Log Management.
  11. Turn on Data upload permission.
  12. Input the newly created user name in the User Name field.

    TrendAI™ automatically determines the location of your Qualys environment based on a valid user name.
  13. Input the password for the user account in the Password field.
  14. Click Save.

    You may change the user name or password at any time by clicking Edit settings.
