Configure outbound static IP settings in order to forward outbound web traffic through static IP addresses provisioned via the Internet Access Cloud Gateway.

Note
Note
This sub-feature is not available in all regions.
If outbound static IP settings are enabled, Trend Vision One provisions your organization with two fixed-bandwidth static IP addresses based in a chosen regional point-of-presence (PoP). Selected outbound web traffic is forwarded through the provisioned static IP addresses rather than dynamically assigned IP addresses, allowing access to web resources that only accept static IP address requests.
Important
Important
  • Trend Vision One currently only supports one static IP address pair in one regional PoP per customer. Only outbound traffic destined for the chosen PoP is forwarded.
  • After selecting a PoP, ensure you are routing user traffic to the selected regional PoP proxy by changing the Internet Access Gateway Proxy URL in the relevant PAC file from the default URL to the region-specific URL. To find the appropriate region-specific URL, see Port and FQDN/IP address requirements.

Procedure

  1. Go to Zero Trust Secure AccessSecure Access ConfigurationInternet Access and AI Service Access Configuration and select Outbound Static IP Settings in the Global Settings tab.
  2. Click Add IP Address Pair.
  3. Select a region or location to serve as the PoP for the IP address pair.
  4. Choose the outbound traffic to be forwarded through the static IP addresses.
    • Any traffic: Forwards all outbound web traffic through the provisioned static IP addresses
    • Selected custom URL categories: Forwards outbound web traffic through the provisioned static IP addresses to URLs listed in up to 100 selected custom URL categories

Only custom URL categories with contents based on domain or keyword match modes are supported. For more information, see Custom URL categories.
  5. Click Save to generate the static IP address pair.
  6. To modify the static IP address configuration, you may choose a different location or different traffic to be forwarded.
  7. To delete the provisioned static IP address pair, click the delete (delete_connector=3fc07446-32b8-4304-a62e-6c9ecc08d84f.jpg) icon.
    Note
    Note
    • Changing the location of the static IP address pair causes a new IP address pair to generate.
    • Deleted static IP address pairs are reserved for 48 hours. If you choose to re-enable outbound static IP settings after 48 hours, you cannot regenerate the original static IP address pair. All traffic forwarding settings are also deleted.
