Examine the amount of data your active log repository is using for data traffic and log retention purposes.

Basic details about your log repository data use can be found in the Log Repository Details drawer for a given log repository. You may track your usage over time from the management screen of the associated Service Gateways.

Procedure

  1. Click the name of a log repository to open the Log Repository Details drawer.
  2. Go to the Usage tab to see basic usage details.
    • Displayed ingestion traffic is in GB over the last 30 days.
    • Retention is the overall size in GB of stored data in the log repository
  3. Click Service Gateway Management to go to the Service Gateway inventory screen filtered for the associated Service Gateway.
  4. Click the name of the Service Gateway.
    The management screen for the associated Service Gateway appears.
  5. In the Connected Products and Servers section, click the Third-Party Log Collection tab.
  6. View a list of the connected log collectors and the number of logs the collectors have forwarded to the log repository so far.
