Create reusable security playbook templates to standardize automated response workflows across managed customer environments.

Security Playbook Templates provides a central location to create and manage templates that define automated response workflows. When a service provider assigns a template to a customer environment, TrendAI Vision One™ for Service Providers applies the template as a security playbook in that customer's Security Playbooks app.

Security playbook templates are managed exclusively by the service provider. Customers can view provider-assigned playbooks but cannot modify or delete them.
The following table outlines the actions available in Security Playbook Templates (Templates → Security Playbook Templates). The template list displays the Trigger, Provider template, Requirements, Target, Type, Last modified, and Created by columns.
Access to Security Playbook Templates depends on the user's assigned permissions:

Add a template
Click Add template to create a new security playbook template using one of the following methods:
  • Choose a default template to build: Start from a predefined template structure and customize the settings to meet your needs.
  • Build manually: Configure all template settings from scratch.

Add template is available only to users with edit permission. Users with view-only permission cannot add templates.
Edit a template
Click the template name or use the actions menu to open and modify an existing template.

Editing templates requires edit permission.
Delete a template
Use the actions menu to permanently remove a template. This action cannot be undone.

Deleting a provider template does not remove playbooks that have already been assigned to customer environments. Assigned playbooks remain active in each customer's Security Playbooks app after the provider template is deleted.
