Usage and billing reports | Trend Micro Service Central

Licensing Management Platform → Billing offers centralized management of your managed customers' usage and billing reports.

Click Export report to download an Excel or CSV file of usage and billing information.

Note

Note that in certain reports, Report Cycle refers to the billing period.

The following information is available for small and medium business solutions:

Name: The name of the Trend Micro solution
Billing unit: The unit used to calculate the amount of usage, such as license seats
Provisioned units: The number of units provisioned for a given solution in the selected billing period
Used units: The actual number of units used by your managed customers during the selected billing period
Over-provisioned units: The number of units provisioned for, but not used, during the selected billing period

Chargeable units: The number of units to bill for at the end of the selected billing period

Note

If the number of used units exceeds expectation, Tier 2 partners can manually lower the number of chargeable units and add the reason in the Comments. After a Tier 1 partner approves the report, the adjusted value is used for final billing.

Note

For all small and medium business solutions reports, the numbers of provisioned and used units displayed reflect the highest respective values during the selected billing period.

The following information is available for Trend Vision One services and for the Trend Vision One NFR license:

Name: The name of the Trend Vision One capability or feature requiring credits
Billing unit: The unit used to calculate the number of allocated credits, such as user accounts or sensor deployments
Used units: The actual number of units used by your managed customers during the selected billing period

Chargeable units: The number of units to bill for at the end of the selected billing period

Note

If the number of used units exceeds expectation, Tier 2 partners can manually lower the number of chargeable units and add the reason in the Comments. After a Tier 1 partner approves the report, the adjusted value is used for final billing.

Credit requirement: The number of Trend Vision One credits required per unit for the given capability or feature
Allocated credits: The actual number of Trend Vision One credits allocated to the capability or feature

Final billed units: The final number of units billed for at the end of the selected billing period

Note

Licensing Management Platform automatically calculates the final billed units for Trend Vision One services in 100-credit units, called Trend Vision One xSP Monthly 100-Credit Packs. For example, if your managed customers allocated a total of 126,700 credits to Trend Vision One services, Licensing Management Platform calculates the final billed units as 1,267 credit packs. Based on the number of credit packs billed for in the selected billing period, your customers can receive a volume discount on the final invoice.

Note

For all Trend Vision One services and Trend Vision One NFR license reports, the units, credit requirement, and allocated credits displayed reflect the respective values on the day with the highest number of allocated credits during the billing period.

Important

Because the NFR license includes 8,000 complimentary credits per month, 8,000 credits are subtracted from the allocated credits for the customer assigned the NFR license. If the total allocated credits are less than 8,000, there is no charge. Unused complimentary credits do not roll over to the next month.
