A managed console scope is a reusable, named object that defines access levels for platform capabilities and security functions.

Assign a managed console scope to a custom user role from the Management console scope tab when you configure the role.

Procedure

  1. Go to Administration → User Roles and Management Scope → Managed console scope.
  2. Click Add managed console scope to add a new managed console scope, or select an existing scope to edit it.
  3. In the General information tab, type a name and description for the scope.
  4. Assign the access levels for the managed console scope:
    1. Click the Managed console scope tab.
    2. For each permission, select one of the following access levels: Full access, Read-only, or No access.
    3. To grant more granular access to a platform capability or setting, expand the section and select the permissions you want to assign.
  5. Click Save.
