Use snapshots taken before running the image setup tool to run agent updates on virtual desktops.

Procedure

  1. Revert the virtual template base image to the snapshot you made before running ImageSetup.exe
  2. With an active Internet connection, start or restart the virtual machine.
    The agent will check for updates on boot.
  3. In C:\Program Files (x86)\Trend Micro\Endpoint Basecamp\log\EndpointBasecamp.log, check get_upgrade_actions to verify that the update completed successfully.
  4. Once the update completes successfully, create a new snapshot for future updates.
  5. Run the image setup tool as normal.
