Select mobile devices to deploy the Secure Access Module to in order to enable Zero Trust Secure Access Services.

Verify mobile devices meet the Secure Access Module system requirements and have completed Intune integration, VMWare Workspace ONE UEM integration, Mobile Device Director enrollment, or have been enrolled using managed configuration in another MDM solution before continuing.

Procedure

  1. On the Trend Vision One console, go to Zero Trust Secure Access → Secure Access Module, and then choose Mobile Devices.
  2. For mobile devices that do not have the Mobile Agent installed, click Deploy Mobile Agent to go to Mobile Inventory and complete the Mobile Agent deployment process.
    Once mobile devices install the Mobile Agent, they appear on the Mobile Devices tab by group.
  3. Select one or more groups and click Enable Secure Access.

    To see only devices with Secure Access disabled, select Groups with Secure Access disabled from the drop-down list.
    The Enable Secure Access screen appears.
  4. Confirm the selected groups and click Enable.
    On successful deployment, the Secure Access Module is able to control end users' access to internal apps and the internet based on configured secure access rules.

    Note
    For devices managed using a solution other than Intune integration or Mobile Device Director, you may need to deploy gateway certificates and a VPN profile in order to enable Zero Trust Secure Access services on the devices.
  5. For iOS/iPadOS devices, instruct the end users to connect to the VPN service of Mobile Security by tapping the Secure Access tab and enabling Setup local VPN in the Mobile Agent app.
