Export self-assessment sections as Excel files to collect responses from people who are not Cyber Risk Quantification users, and import completed forms to review responses before applying them.

Data collection forms are Excel (.xlsx) files created from sections of the advanced business self-assessment. The forms are used to collect self-assessment responses from people in other departments or subsidiaries who have relevant information but do not access Cyber Risk Quantification directly. After recipients complete and return the forms, import them to review and apply the collected responses.
The following sections of the advanced business self-assessment can be exported as data collection forms:
Section
Description
Business overview
Organization profile, workforce, finance, and legal and liability information from the Business profile tab.
Security practices
Security control implementation levels for each NIST SP 800-53 control family.
Enriched asset groups
Asset group profile and security practice information for each configured enriched asset group. Exports as a single file with one sheet per asset group.
Enabled risk scenarios
Attack outcome questionnaire responses for each enabled risk scenario.
To export data collection forms:
  1. In the advanced business self-assessment, click Export / Import Question Forms and select Export.
  2. In the Create data collection forms dialog, select the sections to export.
  3. To pre-fill the exported forms with answers already entered in the self-assessment, enable Include existing data.
  4. Click Create. Each selected section downloads as a separate .xlsx file.
Forms must be imported to the corresponding tab in the advanced business self-assessment. To import a completed data collection form:
  1. In the advanced business self-assessment, go to the tab that corresponds to the form you are importing.
  2. Click Export / Import Question Forms and select Import.
  3. In the Import completed data collection forms to current tab dialog, click Select file and select the completed .xlsx file. The maximum file size is 5 MB.
  4. Review the imported responses. Each item displays the current response alongside the imported response. Enable Keep current for any item where you want to retain the existing response instead of the imported one.
  5. Click Update responses and save.
Note
Note
Items with no imported response automatically retain the current value. The Keep current toggle does not appear for these items.
Note
Note
Imported responses flagged with a warning are incorrectly formatted. Edit the imported response or enable Keep current to retain the current value instead.
