June 2, 2026—As part of the scheduled performance upgrade, Cyber Risk Exposure Management
introduces improvements to how asset risk scores and group scores are calculated.
These improvements result in more accurate and consistent risk scores across all asset
types, including cloud assets, and across all group types, including Data Security
Posture Management (DSPM) and SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) groups.
Because asset risk scores are inputs to the Cyber Risk Index, your Cyber Risk Index
may change after the upgrade reaches your region. Any fluctuations that coincide with
the upgrade are expected and reflect more accurate risk data, not a change in your
actual security posture.
