April 28, 2026—You can now use Connection Policies to create and manage connections
and updates for TrendAI Vision One™ Endpoint Security agents and assign designated agents as relays for downloading updates.
Connection Policies includes two new features to assist in managing updates and connections:
Runtime connection policies and Relay management.
Runtime connection policies moves the Runtime Proxy Settings from Global Settings
in Endpoint Inventory to be part of Connection Policies. Use Runtime connection policies
to specify how agents connect to TrendAI Vision One™ and what source to use to download updates, including the new relay group feature.
Relay management is where you can create relay groups to act as an update source for
your agents. Relay groups consist of agents you specify to act as relays for providing
updates to other agents within your environment, and supports Version Control Policies.
This feature helps to centralize and replace the Update Agent in Standard Endpoint
Protection and the Relay feature in Server & Workload Protection.
