View and manage an individual case task.

View and edit information about a case task by clicking the task name on a case's Tasks tab: Workflow and AutomationCase Managementcase nameTasks tab → task name
The following table outlines the actions available for task details.

Description
Edit task fields
Click the task name to update the task. The following fields are available:
  • Task name: The name of the task
    Click Edit icon to change the name.
  • Owner: The user accounts assigned to the task
    You can assign one or more owners to a task.
  • Description: Additional details about the task
  • Status: The current phase of the task
    • To do
    • In progress
    • Closed
    • Reject
  • Due date: When the task needs to be done
Every change to a task field automatically sends an email notification to the following recipients. Users do not need to opt in for each update.
View activity
Go to the Activity tab to see all notes associated with the task. Notes include both user-created entries and system-generated field-change snapshots that record when task fields are updated.
Add a note
On the Activity tab, use the composer on the right to add a new note. Notes can include text, comments, and file attachments.
Edit or delete a note
On the Activity tab, click the three-dot menu on an individual note to edit or delete it.
Filter notes by type
Use the tabs to filter the notes list:
  • Activity: All notes, including user-created notes and system-generated field-change snapshots
  • Comments: Notes that include a comment
  • Attachments: Notes that include file attachments
Delete notes in bulk
On the Comments or Attachments tab, select multiple notes and click Delete to remove them.
Download attachments
On the Attachments tab, select one or more notes and click Download to download the associated files. To add an attachment, add it as part of a note on the Activity tab.
