ActiveUpdate configuration

Procedure

1. Go to Workflow and Automation → Service Gateway Management.
2. Click the name of the Service Gateway virtual appliance with ActiveUpdate installed.
3. Locate the ActiveUpdate service on the Installed Services table and click the configure icon ().
4. Configure update source.

   Note Specifying an ActiveUpdate source is only required for certain on-premises and legacy products. The Service Gateway is able to automatically resolve the update source for most TrendAI™ SaaS products, including the TrendAI Vision One™ agent. To locate the update source URL, reference the administrator’s guide for the product you want to connect or contact your support provider if you need assistance.

   1. Click Add.
   2. Specify the URL of the ActiveUpdate source.
   3. Specify a Description.
   4. Click the check icon () to add the URL to the list.
5. Generate a local ActiveUpdate URL.
   1. Select the Protocol and Type.
   2. Select the Update source.
   3. Click Generate.
   4. Copy the URL to the product you want to connect to the Service Gateway (for example, Apex One).
6. Specify how often to download updates for connected products.
7. Click Save.
